People who visit or plan to move to Auburn would be turned off by seeing the unkept median strips when coming from the Maine Turnpike into the city on Washington Street.
They very well may think that if the city doesn’t keep the median strips mowed, how well do they keep the streets, parks, etc.?
Apparently, the city leaders are not concerned about the appearance of the entrance to our city.
How shameful.
