NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Jackie Curtis has been appointed Senior Vice President, Senior Human Resources Officer. Curtis succeeds Richelle Wallace, who recently retired after serving at NSB for over 19 years.
Since her arrival as NSB’s Vice President of Human Resources in 2022, Curtis has been instrumental in building upon the bank’s high achievement and support culture. The Harrison resident has led recruitment and retention strategies, evaluated the bank’s benefit plans, and partnered with team members to ensure opportunities to thrive and grow are offered through Norway Savings’ Learning & Development program, which she oversees.
In January of this year, Curtis’ efforts earned her the 2023 President’s Award, annually given to an NSB team member who displays strong initiative, leadership, and selflessness.
“Jackie goes above and beyond to provide outstanding support across the organization, and she inspires her team to do so as well,” said Dan Walsh, President and CEO of Norway Savings. “She has earned the trust and respect of her team members, as well as leaders across NSB.”
Curtis earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional. Outside of her role at Norway Savings, she is an active member of the Central Maine Human Resources Association and the Society for Human Resources Management. Curtis is also a Leadership Advisor for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute.
NSB is dedicated to providing opportunities for team members to learn while encouraging them to grow. If building relationships and feeling fulfilled sounds good to you, check out a list of current opportunities at NSB.
