Bettyann Sheats, candidate for Senate District 20, has a demonstrated commitment to service. Whether in the military, business, volunteer activities, or the Maine Legislature, doing good work and helping others has been core to who she is.
She knows service demands hard work and tenacity, having served her country in pathbreaking ways as a leader and teammate: West Point, active duty as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot, platoon leader.
She also knows service isn’t done once or quickly. Instead, she has made it a daily part of life in Maine for 30 years by volunteering in her children’s schools, building a successful business, and representing her fellow citizens in the Legislature.
Consequently, her service is uniquely personal and respectful. In her business or her advocacy and constituent work in the Legislature, her follow up is matchless and focused on those she is serving.
Bettyann Sheats. Service makes her worth our votes.
