HARRISON — Resilient Harrison Maine now has a website. Local climate resilience organization expands its visibility. In its two years of activity, Resilient Harrison Maine has done a town-wide survey and acted on the results with many presentations and workshops giving money-saving and energy-saving tips. Their online presence is now expanding beyond their Facebook group to a website, whose address is: sites.google.com/view/resilient-harrison-maine.

The new website allows Resilient Harrison Maine to share past and upcoming events, local resources, and informative articles and books relating to the environment and climate change. For those who are still trying to figure out the lingo, there is a page linking to explanations of basic concepts and vocabulary. They welcome readers to share resources, ask questions, and attend events.

Resilient Harrison Maine is a group of Harrison residents helping their town work together to save money by increasing their climate resilience. They meet every first and third Thursday at 7 p.m., at the Harrison Village Library.
