I am endorsing Bruce Bryant for the Maine State Senate, District 19.

He has previously held the position of state representative and state senator. In these positions he worked to improve the educational opportunities for our students; the wages and rights of those who work in our educational system; the wages and rights of Rumford paper mill workers where he served as president of Local 900 for four of the 40 years he worked there; and served on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee to preserve the hunting and fishing rights that have belonged to the people of this great state. He was chair of that committee for four terms and won the endorsement of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine.

Bruce is hardworking, reliable, and pragmatic, willing to work with those he doesn’t always agree with to make Maine a better place to live.
