OXFORD — Local police and fire responded to Oxford County Regional Airport for reports of a plane crash.

Oxford police Chief Rickie Jack said his department and Oxford Fire Rescue responded to the incident.

Jack said details would come from the Federal Aviation Administration which investigates all plane crashes.

Early reports indicated the pilot of the single-seat aircraft suffered injuries, but was conscious when first responders arrived.

The FAA was not immediately available for comment.
