Lorette “Lori” A. LeClair

LEWISTON – Lorette “Lori” A. LeClair, of Lewiston, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on July 16, 2024 with friends and family by her side.

Lori was born in Auburn July 18, 1945, the daughter of Laurent N. LeClair and Gabrielle N. (Brousseau) LeClair. She graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn, in 1964.

Lori was a member of the auxiliary of the Auburn American Legion. She was one of the first female franchise’s in Maine for Dunkin Donuts. She went to the University of Dunkin Donuts and was the original owner of Dunkin Donuts in Skowhegan, 1988. She also owned her own clothing store, Western Images, Etc., in Norridgewock,

Some of Lori’s hobbies were oil painting, sewing and country music. She loved karaoke at the Legion. She loved her family very much. She loved to have lots of company. Times that she remembered most fondly were her birthday parties, age 40, 50, 60 and 70. “What a blast they all were.” She loved going to Boothbay Harbor. Lori lived a very full life and she got to travel all over the world. Lori loved her kokopelli’s. She had them all over her home. Her granddaughters have fond memories counting them when they were there visiting. Lori also loved her kitty, Dolly. Lori loved to love.

Lori was predeceased by her mother, father; and daughter, Kelly Jean Greenlaw; her sister, Joan (LeClair) Dunphy.

Lori is survived by her sons Jarret Greenlaw and his wife Sirena and M. Jamie Greenlaw and his wife Irma; brother, Roland Nadeau and his wife Louise, sister, Jeannette (Nadeau) Roy and her husband Frank. She has many cousins, nieces and nephews. Lori is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

We would like to give special thanks to cousins Larry and Carmen and her dear friends Dan and Marylou Hill.

A memorial service is being held on Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Community Fellowship, 43 Maple St., Madison. A graveside will follow at 1 p.m. at Sunset View Cemetery in Norridgewock.
