Lewiston Seniors plans to hold a Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at the Left Hand Club, Old County Road in Lisbon.

The events include bingo, and outdoor games such as horseshoes, water balloons and ladder ball. Entertainment will be provided by Dan Marois at 1:30 p.m. Barbecued chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, desserts and beverages will be offered. A raffle and 50/50 are planned.

The cost is $12. Tickets are available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Lewiston Senior Center Office, 65 Central Ave.

The group will have its fundraiser with Elvis (Dan Boudreau) at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, at the Lewiston Armory. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Snacks and water will be for sale. A 50/50 is planned.

Tickets are for sale in advance for $15 at the Senior Office or $20 at the door.

Tickets are available in the Senior Office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

A membership meeting is set for 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the Lewiston Senior Center Office.

Lunch, to cost $10 and purchased in the Senior Office, will include pasta, meatballs, salad, knots, dessert and beverages. Kathy Montejo, Lewiston city clerk, will talk on recent voting changes in Maine, absentee ballots, rank choice voting and where to vote.

Trips are planned this year to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick (Oct. 6-14) and White Mountain Hotel & Resort (Dec. 13-15).

In 2025, the group is planning a trip to Spain (April 12 -20). Trips for 2025 are being planned to Washington, D. C., Atlantic City, Bluegrass Country & the Smokey Mountains and Greece.
