James Goodman, 4, plays with his toy cars and trucks Wednesday at his family’s campsite at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford. He buried one of his trucks to create a jump for his cars to clear. According to his mother, Macy, seated behind him, James already has a go-kart and plans to start go-karting next summer. His father, also named James, began racing 11 years ago when he was 15. “I’m nervous and excited,” Macy said about her son’s impending driving career.  Andree Kehn/Sun Journal
