This country is on a speeding train heading toward a financial cliff with no reduction of our national debt in sight.

My concern is about Congress and its failure to act on a budget. Maine people and the rest of the country are also losing trust and confidence in our government.

Congress should act on a budget, rather than just pass another continuing resolution, in order for many of our inefficient agencies to keep operating.

This is again our representatives kicking the can down the road for our children and grandchildren to pay.
