April Cyr

FLORIDA – On Aug. 24, 2024, April Cyr passed away at the age of 71 with her loving son, daughter-in-law, and sister near her.

Born April 8, 1953, she was one of six sisters. The daughter of Althea St Laurent and Myron Herrick, April grew up in Westbrook. She lived many years in Lewiston, and spent her last years in Bradenton Sarasota, Fla., with the love of her life, Walter Cyr.

April was a beautiful strong-willed woman who had a big heart and certainly left her mark with everyone she encountered in life. She enjoyed going to bingo with friends and family regularly had a very strong faith and belief in God and Jesus Christ as her savior. She was very proud of the family she built over the years and will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

April was predeceased by her husband Walter Cyr, son Sheldon Child, sisters, Cathy and Charlene, as well as others she loved dearly.

Today April is survived by her son, Clyde Herrick his wife, Renee, their five children and many grandkids. Her daughter-in-law Jessica Child and the six children she shared with Sheldon as well as two grandchildren. Her youngest son, Christopher Crowley, her sisters, Kelly Perry, Nona Ostrander, and Kim Herrick.

As well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

April‘s memory will forever be in all of our hearts until the day we meet again.
