Lewiston Bridge Club

Winners at the Lewiston Bridge Club on Oct. 1 were Roger Labbe of Lisbon and Les Buzzell of Auburn, who placed first; tied for second were Teresa O’Clair of Lewiston and Mike Quinn of Otisfield, with Linda Smith of Oxford and Pat Quinn of Otisfield; and Ron Reynolds of Auburn and Pete Dickson of Yarmouth, third.

The club meets weekly at the Lewiston Senior Center in The Armory, 65 Central Ave. All players are welcome; a partner is guaranteed.

The Lewiston Senior Cribbage League

The Lewiston Senior Cribbage League’s Sept. 26 winners were Bill Burroughs and David Marshall, who placed first; Claudette Bell and Pauline Cornish, second; Pauline Quimby and Connie Pleau, third; George Bussiere and Alan Treworgy, fourth; and Richard Cloutier and Gail Marquis, fifth.

On Oct. 3 Denise Wallingford and Ray Beaudoin placed first; Linda Boucher and Roger Labbe, second; George Belanger and Dwight Doughty, third; Pauline Blais and Bob Cielinski, fourth; and Art West and Gary David, fifth.

The league plays every Thursday at the Lewiston Armory/Lewiston Senior Center, 60 Central Ave. Doors open at 8 a.m., games start at 9 a.m. One must be a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizens group in order to play.
