FARMINGTON — Natalee Orr’s second goal lifted Mt. Blue to a 2-1 girls soccer victory over Brewer on Tuesday.

Orr gave the Cougars (5-6) a 1-0 lead in the first half with a goal set up by Olivia Torres Reali. The Witches (7-4) tied the game on a Lauren Vanidestine unassisted goal with 27:30 remaining in the second half.

Then, with 6:45 left, Alaya Smith set up Orr for the go-ahead score.

Cougars goalie Destiny Hensley made 11 saves, while Brewer’s Gabby Chasse stopped four shots.

BUCKFIELD 7, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Brittany Carrier scored five goals to lead the Bucks over the Seagulls (3-9) in Buckfield.

Chloe Bennett and Cori Merrill each added a goal for Buckfield (11-1). Sophie St. Pierre finished with two assists, while Bennett, Alyssa Bretton and Cori Merrill each had one.

SKOWHEGAN 4, LEWISTON 0: Four different players scored as the River Hawks won in Skowhegan.

Izzy Munn, Allie Frey, Mae Dubois and McKaela McLaughlin scored for Skowhegan (4-6-1), with Munn netting her first varsity goal.

Natalie Cooke made five saves in goal for Skowhegan, while Dayla Tripp had nine for Lewiston (1-11).

GREELY 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Abby Lennox paced a balanced offense with two goals as the Rangers (9-0-3) defeated the Patriots (4-7-2) in Gray.

Sophie Cyr, Avery Bush, Molly Partridge, Lily Pierce, Jackie Franklin and Tori Zandan each chipped in with a goal.

Gray-New Gloucester goalie Hailey Carson made 10 saves.

FIELD HOCKEY
HALL-DALE/MONMOUTH 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 1: Hannah Rauch scored both goals to lead the Bulldogs to the win in Farmingdale.

Sidney Keleher and Torie Tibbetts each added an assist for Hall-Dale (8-3) while Jade Graham made 14 saves.

Maddie Grimaldi scored for the Phoenix (7-5) and Mallory Clark stopped 16 shots.

ST. DOMINIC 8, WELLS 0: Ava Martin’s hat trick paced the Saints (7-4-1) past the Warriors (2-10-1) in Wells.

Emily Andrews contributed two goals and an assist, and Chloe Beauchesne scored twice for St. Dom’s. Abigail Labonte also had a goal, and Alana Wheeler recorded an assist.

MT. BLUE 4, BRUNSWICK 0: The Cougars (8-4) pulled away with three third-quarter goals, and goalie Gwen Lesperance earned her seventh shutout of the season in a home win over the Dragons (2-8-2) in Farmington.

Lily Huntley scored in the first quarter for Mt. Blue off an assist from Bree Griffin. Huntley, assisted by Morgan Hersey, started the third quarter onslaught with her second goal. Then Reese Nye set up Grace Allen and Hersey capped the scoring with a goal set up by Abbi Donald.

Lesperance finished with three saves. Brunswick goalie Ella Duchette stopped 15 shots.

MESSALONSKEE 4, OXFORD HILLS 1: Sophia Ventimiglia and Chloe Michaud each had a goal and an assist as the Eagles won in South Paris.

Zoe Albert and Elsie Bell also scored for Messalonskee (8-3), and AJ Pettengill made two saves in goal.

Gracie Hart scored for Oxford Hills (1-10), assisted by Lily Hammond and Cassie Turgeon. Kya Smith had four saves.

BOYS SOCCER
GREELY 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Connor Skillin scored twice, and Owen Piesik had a goal and three assists to lead the Rangers (9-0-1) past the Patriots (7-4-1) in Gray.

Ethan King and Gavin Byrne also scored.

ST. DOMINIC 1, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 1: Riley Daigle made 17 saves for St. Dom’s as the Saints (5-8-1) and the Mustangs (10-2-1) played to a draw in a Class D South matchup in Monmouth.

“St Dom’s keeper played very well. He had many impressive saves,” Monmouth coach Joe Fletcher said.

Matt Fecteau scored for St. Dom’s on a corner kick.

Bryce Fletcher set up fellow freshman Zane Foyt for the Mustangs’ goal, and goalie Lewis Lamoreau stopped four shots.

LEWISTON 5, SKOWHEGAN 0: Tegra Mbele scored two goals and the Blue Devils (10-1-1) pulled away from the River Hawks (1-11) in the second half in Lewiston.

Lewiston led 1-0 at halftime, then netted four goals after the break.

The Blue Devils’ other goal scorers were Jesus Rafael, Abdirauf Hersi and Nur Hagi. David Francisco, Annimer Ibrahim, Fernando Begue, Mechi Mbele and Daniel Dimandya each had an assist.

Skowhegan goalie Isaiah Graf stopped 16 shots.

MT. ARARAT 7, OXFORD HILLS 3: Oxford Hills held a 2-1 lead heading into halftime, but Caleb Murphy’s second-half hat trick helped lift Mt. Ararat to a 7-3 win in Topsham on Tuesday.

Mt. Ararat’s Aaron Paul scored twice and assisted on a goal by Alex Newman. Ethan Berry contributed three assists, while Eligh Imrie scored unassisted in the 43rd minute.

Connor Doyle and Preston Newcomb scored in the first half for Oxford Hills, and Ryan St. Peters scored in the second half.

Cooper Beaudoin saved 13 shots for the Vikings (2-10). Brady Yazwinski and Haven Paul each saved a shot for the Eagles (7-4-1).
