REGION — Are you seeking out bone-chilling scares or family-friendly fun this Halloween season? Maybe you want to hit up all 10 trick or treat events in the county? Look no further! Here is a list of upcoming events organized by location and date.

Farmington:

Oct. 18-20, Odyssey Scavenger Hunt Bike Ride 6 p.m. at Titcomb Mountain. Follow the trails on this bike ride throughout the weekend and find trolls to take photos with. Post them with #odysseyride2024. Prizes will be given to the riders with the most trolls. The event begins with a pot luck and live music.

Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 and Nov. 2 Farmington Fright Fest 7-9:30 p.m. at the Farmington fairgrounds. Tickets are $25, available online or until 9:45 p.m. at the door Friday and Saturday. Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. is kids day with no scares, just fun. Oct. 27 is blackout day.

Oct. 19, The Monster Mash 6-10 p.m. at Canna Cabana. 18+ event with music, food, vendors, and games.

Oct. 25, Trick or Treat 3-5 p.m. at Orchard Park Rehabilitation. Enjoy cookies and cider as well.

Oct. 25, Trunk or Treat 5-6 p.m. in the High St. parking lot at UMF with the UMF Rotoract Club.

Oct. 26, Halloween Window Painting 10 a.m. to noon. Meeting on Pierce House lawn for supplies and registration.

Oct. 26, Bounce House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Meeting House Park Gazebo.

Oct. 26, Spooktacular Saturday Craft Fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Church.

Oct. 26, Kid’s Pumpkin Decorating from 1-2:30 p.m. for a fee at Wears & Wares.

Oct. 26, Indoor Spooktacular Trick or Treat 4-7 p.m. at the Community Center in Farmington. Wear your costumes and play some minigames at this fun-filled event. The registration for children has passed, but you can still try to sign up for a time-slot.

Oct. 26, Spooktacular Saturday Glo Parade 5-6 p.m. Line up is at 4:30 p.m. on High St. Wear your costumes and march around Downtown Farmington.

Oct. 26, Local Business Trick or Treat 2-5 p.m. Downtown Farmington. Maps can be found at The Roost.

Oct. 27, Trunk or Treat 6-8 p.m. at The Outpost INC.

Oct. 27, Silent Film Showing 6-8 p.m. at the Emery Community Arts Center at UMF. A showing of silent horror film Phantom of the Opera will take place. Tickets are $15 or donation, children under 18 and UMF students enter for free. Consider ordering tickets ahead on the ArtsFarmington website as they are expecting high demand.

Oct. 31, Halloween Party 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Kerplink Play Studio. Wear your costumes and receive one dollar off of admission. Snacks, crafts, and music to be had.

Oct 18, 19, 25, 26, Halls of Horror 7-10 p.m. at 128 Weld Rd. $25 admission with VIP packages available. Multiple levels of terror to experience.

Oct. 26, Halloween Party from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cannatopia. Enjoy food, beverages, music, and more. Costume contest to be held. Rain date: Oct. 27.

Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat Costume Parade on Main St. 4-6 p.m. Decorate your vehicle and wear your costumes for this Halloween parade. Cars, trucks, and trailers welcome. Remain inside your vehicle for candy to be delivered to you.

Jay: 

Oct. 24, Movie Night from 4-6 p.m. at Jay-Niles Memorial Library. The feature film will be Disney’s Hocus Pocus.

Oct. 26, Kids Halloween Boo Bash from 10 a.m. to noon hosted by the Jay Recreation Committee at French Falls Park. Wear your costumes for this exciting event that will offer activities such as a scavenger hunt, cookie decorating, and field games.

Oct. 26, Trunk or Treat from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the VFW auxiliary from Post 3335 and Jay; a local favorite. Gather up all your little gobbles and come join us for a little early Halloween fun.

Oct. 28, Pumpkin Carving and Movie at 3 p.m. at Gigi’s Pizzaroni. Come carve a pumpkin and make your own pizza before the movie.

Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat from 4-6 p.m. at Jay-Niles Memorial Library.

New Sharon:

Oct. 27, Pumpkin Carving 1-4 p.m. at the New Sharon Masonic Lodge. The registration date for ordering pumpkins has passed, but you can still show up to see if there are pumpkins available or bring your own.

Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat 5-7 p.m. at Cape Cod Hill School. Come enjoy candy and games.

Chesterville:

Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat from 4-6 p.m. at the Town Office. Free event sponsored by the North Chesterville Extension Homemakers.

Strong:

Oct. 26, Haunted Chandler Farm 4:30 to 9 p.m. at 31 Chandler Rd. Many activities to be enjoyed including Trunk or Treat, haunted trail walks, children’s Halloween movie, and food and drink. Donations go to DEW Haven Maine Zoo and Rescue.

Kingfield:

Oct. 26, Trunk or Treat 5:30-7 p.m. at Gateway Parking. For more information call Leanna at 207-491-8092.

Rangeley:

Oct. 29, Decorating Contest hosted by Rangeley Lakes Rotary Club. Decorate your home or business for Halloween by Oct 29. Text 207-614-6059 or email info@rangeleyrentals.com by Oct. 28 to register. The winner will receive a surprise on their lawn on Nov. 1 and a Facebook Post will be made.
