JAY — Spruce Mountain scored twice in the final 15 minutes to earn a 2-1 girls soccer victory over Carrabec on Monday.
The Cobras (2-12) scored first on a breakaway goal by Karen Baker earlier in the second half.
Spruce Mountain’s (3-10-1) Lorellei Farrer netted the equalizer with 14:26 remaining in the game, and Ashley Nelson scored the game winner on a corner kick with 2:55 left.
Phoenix goalie Tyoaka Hodgkin made five saves, while Macie Plourde stopped seven shots for the Cobras.
FIELD HOCKEY
LAKE REGION 3, POLAND 2: Mia Letarte knocked home the game-winner in overtime for the Lakers (5-8) as they edged the visiting Knights (3-10-1) at Naples.
Audrey Philbrook and Abi Travis added goals for Lake Region.
Simone Moore and Arianna St. Pierre were the goal scorers for Poland.
BOYS SOCCER
RICHMOND 7, BUCKFIELD 1: Kenny Mecham had four goals and added an assist to lead the Bobcats past the Bucks in Richmond.
Brady Alexander added two goals for the Bobcats (9-1-0), while Cale Harrington had the other. Zander Steele chipped in with two assists and David Edwards and Fin Foster combined to make four saves.
Cody Litchfield scored for Buckfield (4-6-4) and Cayden Durgin made two saves.
OAK HILL 6, LISBON 2: Ethan Lemont scored three goals to help the Raiders (6-8) finish their season with a victory over the Greyhounds (1-12-1) in Lisbon.
Goals by Brandon Plourde, Brady Boone and Jayden Pomerleau gave Oak Hill a 3-1 halftime lead, then Lemont added his hat trick in the second half.
Drew Hatala and Jordan Castonguay had two assists apiece, while Plourde set up one goal. Goalie Isaac Galvez stopped five shots for the Raiders.
Spencer Franks scored Lisbon’s first-half goal, and Yanni Duarte netted one on the second half.
