I’m voting for Kamala Harris, and here’s why.
We have another opportunity to elect a woman for president. Harris is smart, strong, experienced, honest, caring, compassionate, hard-working.
I’m a 68-year-old white woman. I know that everything she represents would benefit women, and therefore families.
There is nothing about Kamala and her proposed policies that concerns or frightens me. Everything about the other candidate and his running mate terrifies me, and it should others, too.
People may think it’s too risky to vote for a woman, even a woman of color. It’s not. Women run households, businesses, and other countries. Harris is more than qualified to be our next president.
I hope people join me in voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, for their own sakes and that of all the women in their lives.
