LEWISTON – Pablo died Nov. 3, 2024, in his home of over 50 years surrounded by family.
He was born June 29 1923, in Villanueva, Zacatecas Mexico and later moved to Chalchihuites, Zacatecas Mexico where he met his wife Socorro of nearly 80 years. He then immigrated to Lewiston in 1966 with two of his two daughters and two sons. In 1972 he was able to bring his wife and remaining six children to Lewiston. He worked in the textile industry for over 20 years in Lewiston and Augusta.
He was predeceased by his wife, Soccorro; and eldest son, Felix.
He is survived by three daughters, Irene Duncan, Dolores Cortes and Maria Beaudoin and husband Ronald, six sons, Rafael wife Linda, Pablo, Miguel wife Michelle, Arturo wife Denise, Martin wife Linda, Juan wife Susan; and 60-plus grand and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, dad and Abuelito.
He enjoyed his garden and family. He was very outgoing and friendly to everyone he met. He is greatly loved and missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial for both Pablo and his son, Felix, who predeceased him, will be jointly celebrated at the Basilica of Sts Peter and Paul in the lower chapel for Saturday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m. followed by committal prayers at Riverside Cemetery, Lewiston.
