OTISFIELD — There will be a Christmas Fair on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, 231 Rayville Road (off Route 121) Otisfield. We are selling hand-crafted arts and crafts, hand-knitted and crocheted items, Christmas Wreaths, and Greens at reasonable prices. A white elephant table filled with “Bric-a-Brac,” and attic treasures is back for bargain hunters.
Check out our “World-Famous” Cookie Walk! Just fill a tin with assorted Christmas cookies and pay the price on the tin, but you must be able to put the lid back on once the tin is filled. Our bakers pride themselves on their creativity and prowess in the kitchen. We will have homemade breads, pies, bars, sweets, beans, chowder, and Soups for sale. So come early, stay late, and enjoy the items you buy, but especially enjoy the people you meet. Be sure to bring a
friend.
All proceeds from the Christmas Fair will go to our Scholarship Fund. This year we are giving out $13,000 to students affiliated with the church as well as to other Otisfield students who are pursuing further education. A special scholarship for Oxford Hills, Lake Region, or Poland students pursuing music or drama is given in honor of Priscilla Delehanty, long-time music director and organist at EOFBC as well as a music teacher in the Lakes Region.
