MECHANIC FALLS — An Angel’s Wing has opened Androscoggin County’s first, Maine Association of Recovery Residences-certified structured recovery residence, specifically designed for women and children.

Angel’s Wing’s mission is to foster healing and hope while addressing substance and alcohol use challenges in the community. This residence not only offers essential resources for recovery but also creates a nurturing atmosphere for women and their children, ensuring they have access to the care they deserve, according to a news release from the organization.
