The interior regions of Maine can expect 3-4 inches of snow by Tuesday morning. Only a couple inches is expected in southern Maine.
The snow could create slick travel conditions for the Tuesday morning commute, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS forecast for today through Wednesday has high temperatures in the mid 20s to low 30s so it should be a white Christmas for much of Maine.
