AUBURN — A community holiday concert featuring the Auburn Community Concert Band, held Dec. 18, raised money to benefit the High Street Congregational Church Food Pantry.
Director Milt Simons led the band at the concert, which was held in the new Edward Little Performing Arts Center. The concert raised $1,294, given by attendees as they exited the venue, with another $250 raised from the sale of poinsettia plants that lined the stage.
High Street Food Pantry is a joint effort of High Street Congregational Church, Auburn United Methodist Church, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church and Universalist Unitarian Church of Auburn. All donations will be used to provide food and hygiene supplies.
