LEWISTON — An expanded healing prayer ministry started Jan. 26 at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon St, which will continue every Sunday morning in its chapel following the 8:30 a.m. mass.
All present in the main church following services, which typically end around 9:45 a.m., will be invited into its side chapel to have prayers said for themselves or as surrogates for loved ones.
Every type of ailment, from before or after surgeries, to the many health challenges present in people’s lives, including lifelong issues, will be given considered and thoughtful prayer by team members in the ornate Chapel, according to a news release from Paul Baribault.
This ministry is not restricted to parishioners; all faith communities are welcome.
