Patricia T. (Cote) Punch

LIVERMORE – Patricia T. (Cote) Punch, 87, a resident of Livermore, passed away on April 9, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on April 3, 1938, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Joseph E.A. (Roland) and Elda (Pineau) Cote. She attended Livermore Falls High School. On Oct. 20, 1956, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, she married David L. Punch, Jr. of Livermore. They spent 33 years together before his passing on March 30, 1989. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. She spent 25 wonderful years in Cocoa Beach, Fla. with her many friends, old and new. She also enjoyed 30 years of staying at Wells Beach with her sister-in-law and two of their closest friends. She led a very full life enjoying many cruises, going to plays, and going to the casinos. She also loved going out to restaurants and shopping. She especially enjoyed summers by her pool with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved watching the kids playing and splashing in the pool. She loved to crochet making special afghans for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her flower gardens and taking care of her lawn.

She is survived by her two daughters, Wendy Nadeau and husband Don of Livermore and Lisa Richard and husband Jon of Livermore, two sons, Michael Punch and wife April of Georgia and David W. Punch and wife Pamela “Pam” of Winthrop; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Jenna, Samantha, Kristin, Thomas, Katherine, Timothy, Tyler, and Jessica; 17 great-grandchildren; her sisters Carol Perrault of Jay, Suzanne Bowen of Oxford, Vicki Cyr and husband Paul of South Carolina, and her brothers Thomas Cote and wife Mary of Livermore Falls, and Geoff Cote and wife Bernice of Farmington.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, David; her grandson, Michael J. Punch; her great-granddaughter, Macie Jo Morin; sister, Sandy Doughty and brothers Richard and William Cote.

Patty was very lucky to be able to have her two daughters stay and care for her over the last four months of her life. Her family would also like to thank all the staff at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Maine Medical Center and most especially, the acute rehab staff at Central Maine Medical Center, as well as the staff at Andwell Health Partners, for their kind and compassionate care during their mom’s final journey, and a very special thank you to her CNA, Louann. Thank you, Father Paul Dumais, for his pastoral care prior to her passing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 15 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1 Church St., in Jay. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, April 14 at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls, ME 04254. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery 445 Park St., Livermore Falls.
