Travis W. Crafts

DURHAM – Travis W. Crafts, 52, of Durham, passed away in the arms of his loving wife on March 19, 2025 after a hard-fought battle with esophageal cancer. If only he had been able to be frozen in carbonite until a cure was found.

He was born in Brunswick to Paul F. and Sylvia J. Crafts. Raised in Lisbon Falls, he graduated from Lisbon High School and University of Maine Orono. He worked at Lewiston Public Schools as an Ed Tech and then, teacher.

Travis was a devoted and loving husband, “fur kid” dad, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a positive influence, teacher and mentor to many.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 4, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Franco Center, 48 Cedar St., Lewiston. We will start off the celebration with a telling of your favorite “Travis/Mr. Crafts story” in joyful remembrance of this wonderful man. Travis was a casual man and loved his T-shirts, please feel free to wear a T-shirt that speaks to you of Travis.
