BETHEL — The Telstar Middle School Baseball team defeated Mt. Valley Middle School 12-9 yesterday at the Mexico Recreation Park. Maceo Bartlett, Landon McPherson, and Owen Beaton combined for the Rebel pitching with Landon striking out seven batters.

Silas Wills led the hitting attack with three singles and added a single each for Nick Lapointe, Carter Fortier, Landon McPherson, Brad Campbell, and Owen Beaton. The team improved its record to 3-1 for the season.

The Telstar J.V. played two extra innings to a 4-4 tie.
