My respect for Bettyann Sheats has grown since the day she rang my doorbell while campaigning for her first state office.

We discussed an issue that is very important to me — health care for the most vulnerable. She continues to impress me as she advocates for women, children, veterans and, most recently, first responders.

I support Bettyann Sheats on her journey as she seeks election to the Maine state Senate for District 20.
