Emerson Chevrolet, a member of Maine Chevy Dealers, is sponsoring 2,800 water bottles to be distributed to students who attend Geiger, Farwell, Montello, McMahon and Connors elementary schools in Lewiston. Healthy Smiles for ME is a nonprofit that provides preventive dental care in Lewiston schools. Each water bottle will include a toothbrush and toothpaste. The purpose of the initiative is to encourage daily brushing and increase water consumption to improve oral health outcomes for students. Cindy Leavitt of Health Smiles for ME and John Emerson of Emerson Chevrolet hold a sponsor banner.
