The Norway Country Club Ladies Golf Association has set up their annual silent auction and basket raffle prior to their 11th Annual Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament which is Thursday, Aug. 8, at Norway Country Club.
Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. The nonprofit located at 59 Winter St. in Norway, serves anyone impacted by cancer in the Oxford Hills and surrounding communities including Bridgton and Rumford.
The public is invited to purchase raffle tickets and place bids from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, or whenever the open sign is out by the ladies’ lounge.
