WILTON — State and local police arrested a local woman Tuesday evening on Arkay Street on drug charges, according to a news release.
Lisa Miniutti, 50, of Wilton was arrested around 6 p.m. and charged with unlawful possession of a cocaine base with priors and violating a condition of release, Wilton Police Chief Ethan Kyes said.
Miniutti was transported to Franklin County Detention Center in Farmington where she is being held without bail.
Kyes said an officer drafted a search warrant for Miniutti’s address based on drug trafficking and illegal importation information he received. The search warrant was carried out with assistance from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and Farmington Police Department.
Police seized suspected crack cocaine at the address and items associated with drug trafficking, Kyes said.
Miniutti was recently indicted by a grand jury for drug-related charges and was out on bail during the search warrant’s execution.
Kyes said this was the second search warrant executed at Miniutti’s address within the past eight months.
“Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Wilton Police Department have charged numerous individuals involved in several incidents since 2015 for drug trafficking charges and numerous other drug related crimes, all connected to this address,” Kyes said.
