Chaia Alford covers Bethel and the surrounding small towns. He graduated from Dickinson college with a major in archaeology, and a minor in creative writing. He is a passionate fiction writer, who is working on writing a novel when he isn't reporting. As a lifelong Bethel resident, he enjoys the woods, outdoors, and the small town life. His other hobbies include whatever craft project he's focused on at the moment.

Bethel Harvestfest attracts new vendors
BETHEL — Several new vendors brought their goods to the 26th annual Harvestfest on Sept. 21.
